Four of us – myself and three British friends now exiled in the USA – have bought a Jag. Specifically a 1999 Jaguar XJ8 long wheel base saloon which we’ve serviced thoroughly and replaced some key parts. The plan is to drive it from our mate Jon’s house just north of New York City all the way across the country to San Francisco CA.
